Golden anchor / Windorf Traditional hotel located directly on a branch of the Danube. Small swimming pool with sauna, beautiful beer garden facing the Danube. The buffet on Friday evening was positive for us. The only negative thing is that it was a bit nooks and crannies, but with old hotels this is history. My recommendation

Location is actually not bad. Room fully ok. Bed should be a bit wider. Access to the indoor pool very narrow and possibly not good for older people. Eating well edible but not really great. Corona measures completely exaggerated.

Only stayed one night in transit but found it very difficult to check out. The hotel is in a very idyllic location on the Danube and offers countless leisure opportunities, is very well-kept with super attentive staff -from the reception, to waiters to cleaning staff and whether breakfast buffet or a la carte- delicious and plentiful. Next time I'll stay longer.

Nice rooms, good service and delicious food. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed on the balconies and if you have the window open as a neighbor, the smoke just pulls in

A beautiful location

It is a three star hotel with wellness spa and restaurant. I will put up pictures as they better show the hotel than words. Located a short distance from Passau it is on the Danube and a perfect fit for cyclists. Even has a bicycle garage.

Reasonable place for a stopover, friendly staff and a comfortable room, nothing striking about the room, no tea / coffee making facilities, no welcome pack, ( it’s a nice touch to get that in a hotel) and was charged €5 for a glass of coke at the bar.... middle of the road....

A very nice atmosphere. Quiet location, located directly on the water. Great area for running, always by the water. The pool in the house is ausrechend and well heated. The breakfast is just great. We will be back:-)
